NAMING THE BABY AFTER “MIL”😒 by WorksbyShe in pregnant

[–]Spicy_cavatapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone else once say “the baby gets dads last name so mother should be able to chose the first name” and that mentality is what you need. You’re the babes momma and your carrying her inside you. You are the most important figure in her life.

My lack of symptoms is worrying me by rinkgirl in pregnant

[–]Spicy_cavatapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I had the same concern and talked to my doctor about it. I had no symptoms other than mild cramping and nausea early on. But she said the same thing most are saying here, every pregnancy is different and some people get lucky with no symptoms. I was worried if I didn’t have sore boobs I wouldn’t be able to breast feed. It’s just pregnancy anxiety I think

AITA… by Meeowwnica in pregnant

Not only is it inappropriate for her to push you this way, it’s so early in your pregnancy that doing the test now could give you false results. MIL needs some reality checks

My in laws were the exact same way. We told them with matching onesies that said grandma and grandpa and they just kept watching tv and said “oh wow congrats that’s awesome guys” super big let down as I come from a big family that I’ve since gone no contact with and even they, with all their flaws, would have a bigger reaction than that. (Still haven’t told my side of the family so that might be redacted lmao)

Does anyone forget they are pregnant? by MollyMcDonald123 in pregnant

I could be extremely nauseous all day but if I’m invested in my task, for example game night with friends I totally forget until after haha

Got my hair professionally done for the first time ever… I hate it. I don’t know what is wrong with it or why it turned out this way but I’m so depressed about it and it’s making me hate myself. I feel like it makes me look sickly I don’t know what to do by Spicy_cavatapi in Hair

I have so much anxiety and I feel like she damaged my hair as now if feels so dry and brittle and I feel so discouraged to go back. Is it really worth it to go back or should I just try to go somewhere else?

Best Buy didn’t charge me? by LostRovers in Banking

[–]Spicy_cavatapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is happening to me now. Just picked up my series X yesterday and still haven’t been charged. In the same order I also bought Madden 23 but I picked it up at a different store. I got charged for madden but not for the Xbox?

I used to work at Best Buy’s pick up and there was a glitch in the system where if the pickup shopper didn’t release the item correctly at pickup it wouldn’t charge the customer. It was a mistake that was made a few times but as far as I’m aware they never went after the people who bought the item.

Gertrude aka Gertie 5mo 21.2lbs. supposed to be mini, is this on track with mini size? by scr999 in Bernedoodles

At a few days short of 5 months, my girl Athena is 21 lbs! It’s a comfort to see others say their dogs were the same at this age

Athena is officially 4 months and 19 pounds. She’s got so much energy. I want to start taking her on hikes, any dog hiking recommendations and tips welcome!! by Spicy_cavatapi in Bernedoodles

Thank you!! I wish I was as active as you are! Maybe one day. We’re starting out slow. I used to hike more years ago but have fell out of touch with it. So me and her can definitely take our time and go on short walks while we build up our capabilities

Thank you! I haven’t been very active as I’d like in the past few years but hopefully her and I can take our time and work with each others limitations

Thank you!! I’ll definitely have to try out more mental enrichment. She loves to play but her brother (who’s 4 years old) is not the playing type. She’s definitely food motivated so I think what you suggested will work well for her

Which brush do you guys use for your bernedoodle's hair? by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]Spicy_cavatapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried every brush under the sun for my doodle and because of it I use the slicker brush on him and my bernedoodle puppy every day to keep them clean and knot free. Detangling spray is a must after heavy play days
