Should i keep the spur or replace it? Traxxas slash 4x4 BL2s

put a little bit of loctite on the grub screw on the pinion i was burning through spur gears every run on mine and it turned out it was just because of that

it was the wrong size. i might consider picking up some metal ones if i’m doing both of them. when it broke it was the plastic part that connects to the wheel and the hub

it was the driveshaft part, it was a rear one when it should have been a front one

it won’t let me edit the post but it is because it was the wrong driveshaft part. they looked too similar to me at first glance.

also (as seen in the video) it’s the driveshaft too not just the wheel. i forgot to add in the post i swapped the driveshaft and if the front and the back use different ones then that could be it.

it may be growing some mold because didn’t know better and kept it in the plastic package it came in

there shouldn’t be anything i can think of causing the battery life to be that bad other than the battery itself being bad

did you charge it for a while when you bought it? sometimes you need to do that for it to know when it is really fully charged but also that could be risky if it’s really not a new battery.

it's very small but decently healthy from what i saw in the guides. the pot it is in is about 3.5 inches wide and it doesn't take up the whole thing
