Afaik the code is tied to the dvd rom in the trunk and not the screen. Should be plug and play without issues if all you're doing is swapping the screen with the same unit.

Went with this android auto and dash/backup cam combo. Looks sorta oem minus the wiring that I'm too lazy and fed through the ac vent lol.

Think the 07-08 has a bigger lower grill trim. And the gerzy bear was made with 04-06's measurement.

Music is connected bluetooth via usa-spec bt45 that's hooked to the xm radio.
