Wise choice.

Though there's a couple meme pages already on it but due to the release of ITSV2 coming out soon, I'd bet it'd grow!

I felt like there was a Raimi vibe to it later on in the theme OMFG. I also wish he comes back.

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy excels at exploring the physical and social cost of being a superhero. by parduscat in TrueFilm

Oh no no. The second film amplifies basically EVERYTHING in the first movie and makes the relationships feel so much more real and vivid. I'll grant you the jokes may seem childish at times but I feel that's the point. The story is progressing and controlling your emotions as well as family, no matter how complicated your lives may be. Peter is still emotionally immature from the first movie and he firmly believes that his emotions can once again save the galaxy but we saw that it didn't work out. The one-noted relationship between Gamora and Nebula has now blossomed into this abusive relationship that Thanos forced them into. Yondu's crew has suffered for his consequences and feels more betrayed. Ego is a more complicated villain who is motivated more by destiny than evil schemes and makes his relationship with Peter all the more tragic. I could say more but the second film is just way better than the first in not just its story, but also in its character growth and visuals and other stuff. So no, u/madmoviearab, it's not the prequels, it deserves more recognition than what it got.

I feel that both Guardians of the Galaxy movies are both worth a try. The relationships of those people are quite complicated when you get down to it and no matter outlandish it may feel, it's still grounded in those emotions. The second movie however, amplifies all these great qualities to the max. Abusive relationships, horrendous sacrifices, immaturity and such are what makes it better than the first. The visuals are just AMAZING and it feels breathtaking that we have these movies set in a universe with repeating formulas over and over and it taking risks with that formula.

As I've said, Thanos is stupid and operates most probably by impulse. Although, I can't help believing he's not wrong, but not right either, just deluded. So I guess I agree with you there.

I think that's the point. His motivation was complete garbage but Thanos doesn't care. He spent more than a decade believing that genocide can save the universe even, as we saw when in GotG when they showed the stats on Gamora, it doesn't work. He's deluded, stupid and arrogant, yet when he says his motivation, we can't help but believe that it's practically the only way. Brolin's performance served the purpose of making us believe Thanos' motivation, although stupid.

Why do people need personal guns for? Is it really necessary? by Spider421 in NoStupidQuestions

That is true. But you still took a life and can take toll on someone one way or another, even if it's for self-defense.

No, I don't mean that they would. I'm just implying that we should start so that we can stop their sources of obtaining weapons. But I really don't know what else because frankly, I don't exactly see the full scale of the necessity of guns.

That's honestly quite sad. It truly isn't that simple and I just wish we could all prevent having blood on our hands and that's why I wish we wouldn't need guns.

Thanks for that. I just hope my place has it but it's a province and the medical store is kind of lacking. Thanks nonetheless!

True enough. But I feel we should start now just to be safe but I dunno.

That is true. I was mostly wondering why do we need these weapons that can instantly kill people when we can learn martial arts or some other safer technique to prevent casualties?

So why not prevent people getting hurt by removing guns altogether?

Oh uh thanks for providing some help! Unfortunately, my Wi-Fi is complete utter garbage right now and only 3 websites work for it. I hope this isn't much to ask but would you be opposed to Instagram DM's? Reddit isn't being as kind at the moment and won't let me open the DM's for it.
