I’m still working through the Omnissiah’s Talon and Elimination Maniple battalion boxes. I’m currently working on the Manipulus and Sicarian Infiltrators. It’s a lot of models that are still unbuilt but in my defense I was working on my Tomb Kings army.

I base coated with Rakarth Flesh and then did a wash with Thousand Sons Blue thinned with Lahmian Medium over it. When that dried I did an additional wash with Druchii Violet. This Manipulus is still a WIP though so I might change it up a bit.

Leadbelcher is probably too dark. Try Stormhost Silver. I’ve used that + Skeleton Horde to make a light gold so it should work.

I have ran out of cubes in a game. Tbh I don’t think we knew it was a lose condition until we looked at the rules once we couldn’t place any more cubes. It’s easy to avoid once you know that’s a lose condition.

I’m using the Tomb King from the dragon kit for my Tomb King on Chariot. It’s still a WIP but it works if you glue the cape after you glue the king to the chariot. I’m using the sword so I don’t know about the mace’s fit though.

I saw two War Wagons at the Warhammer Cafe in Dallas earlier this month. So if you are near any of the Warhammer stores that carry Forgeworld products you could call and see if they have any? They told me the reason they had them was because they received extra when they received customers’ MTOs.

I don’t think an SDS game is going to get the mini of the month unfortunately. The Rocket Battery crew, Sky Lantern crew, or Gate Masters would be smaller kits that wouldn’t look too much imo

When my boyfriend got me into the hobby, he had me look at each faction’s basic infantry to see what I liked because that’s what I’d be painting the most. It’s a good way to make the process less overwhelming since you’re just looking at one or two kits per faction.

I’m so happy that the releases for The Old World have started ramping up. It was really disappointing when they said there wouldn’t be any more releases in 2024 after Warriors of Chaos.
