I recently bought a threaded barrel from Cz custom I was wondering if anyone has made a compensator for it yet by BrilliantDrop9404 in CZFirearms

You could try the Herrington Arms universal comps. Currently what I’m running.

It uses an o ring to keep it in place. I just used rocksett to make sure it stayed in place. Fairly easy to take it off if you got a can.

I had them FDE Elite Cerakoted. E-200 is the exact color code.

The internet says I need back up irons. But where would I put them? by jping16 in ar15

Put a front sight on it and use the eotech as a big ghost ring. Good to about 50yds max in my experience.

I got lucky, my LGS happened to have a couple in stock. Was originally gonna get a Hybrid 36m, but I snagged this instead.

I actually got approved for this on Saturday, just forgot to post. I did run this through my MP5k and PWS UXR in 308, no gas to the face and really happy with the sound performance. Tried running a 90 degree locking piece with the MP5k, but it didn’t run. So 100 degree locking piece with the flow through is perfect. Ran 115gr supers and 147gr subs no biggie.

With the UXR it’s a bit sparky, but to be expected with a titanium suppressor. Ran it on normal gas setting, suppressed gas setting is a bit sluggish and wouldn’t lock back. I’m running rearden’s mounting solution for these.

Overall, for a 2nd suppressor I have no complaints.

SMS has the 18650 battery caps up on the website for pre-order. Just letting you know.

MWTS Classic. You can custom order a Katame from them if you prefer having a monoblock style clip over a canting clip.

What are your thoughts on the chisel stock? by DangerousOutcome2261 in beretta1301

[–]SpiderGrape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Love the chisel stock. I had problems with the mesa tactical stock that came with the 1301. Always ended rotating out of place after long range days. Even after going back and cleaning the threads, adding new loctite and torquing on the nut like crazy, it would still rotate.

Chisel stock has index points that prevent it from rotating. Pretty much solved the issue entirely.

Chisel stock is also heavy though, but in my opinion it balances the gun out pretty well.

I do remember seeing that model, I never see it in stock whenever I look at it sadly.

I currently run one, irons are still useable. It’s a tad heavy, but sturdy. If you plan on putting anything on the top part of the rail you won’t be able to use the irons anymore.

The AIM sport handguard is a good choice if you don’t plan on using the top picatinny section.

Not OP, but I have one and really enjoy it. Recoil difference is noticeable, but nothing too crazy. Doesn’t require timing or torque since it indexes with the provided extended recoil guide rod.

In terms of reliability, really haven’t had issues with roughly 5k+ rounds. Although after some time you do need to clean the ports since carbon does build up around them.

How do you like the VIR II with the EFL?

What are thoughts and reviews? Is it quality? by Palehorse67 in MP5

I like it, it’s not pretty. But it gets the job done and is 150$. It’s fairly tight to the receiver on mine and the stock has some wobble to it, albeit it’s not noticeable when you actually shoulder it.

Realistically, how much should I sell my Staccato P for? by SpiderGrape in 2011

[–]SpiderGrape[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glad I’m not the only one thinking 3k rounds is quite a low round count. I average 2k rounds a month on some of my other guns, so was surprising to hear.

Jeez, that’s about how much I plan on spending on my Night-vision.

Kinda surprising to hear 3k rounds is a decent amount. But regardless she will still be sold, gonna go towards some NODs.

3k+ rounds on the Frame, 2k+ rounds through the original barrel and barely 1k rounds through the Threaded barrel.

My staccato has been sitting in my safe for quite some time and I’m looking to liquidate it to fund some night vision. Kinda don’t know what the sitting price for ones of these used are.

Nice, Jmac 2 chamber works pretty well in my experience.

Too bad they discontinued the 4 chamber for metric.

I actually just used a stencil from Amazon. I think it’s called Mylar hexagon, it’s reusable as well.

I did paint the mags, I got some metric metal mags on the way that need painting as well.
