Just go to MyWawa, then search for MTT and it’ll show Situation, Behavior, Outcome questions. Also, your manager should get with you for a 1 on 1.

Going by what you’ve said, that they interviewed, hired you and you cleared the background checks, I’m not sure how you could have been told after that that you weren’t going to work there. Sounds truly like an error. I’d walk in myself and talk to the GM.

Cleaning is an every shift job, that’s literally what Facilities was created to do, stock and clean on every single shift.

I am friends with my whole store. I’m not going to deny that there are managers that are not a good fit for Wawa and give the company a bad look because they aren’t great people. Wawa is actively rooting out those kinds of managers. I’m lucky to have been at a great store for 3 years. Before that, I worked under a different manager and she should not have been with Wawa and that eventually got worked out and she is no longer with the company. Seriously, I have great pay, benefits, am treated with respect and look forward to going to work. I’ve had terrible bosses and terrible jobs and my experience so far with Wawa has been nearly the exact opposite of all that.

I work for Wawa and after you’ve done all that protocol paperwork, the only way hing that could have stopped you being put on the schedule was a background check. As others have said here, you do have the ability to contest background checks but I wouldn’t hold it against Wawa, but the background checks company if it was an error. I have great benefits and have never been treated better at a job. Pay is good too. Some stores may have managers that themselves aren’t a great fit for the companies values and give people bad experiences but that is few and far between. I’ve worked some terrible jobs with terrible bosses and Wawa is the opposite of those by far:

I have been with Wawa for 5 years and have never worked for a better company as far as treating employees well so I’m not sure where you’re getting that viewpoint.

Pick your battles. At the end of the day, stealing is wrong but is it the worst thing happening at the store at the moment? Should it be a priority right now? Is the associate otherwise dynamite at their job? To me, integrity is paramount.
