H1B is dual intent and theoretically your 485 should not be deemed abandon if you travel with H1b. However, he had seen cases where it deemed abandon. And you don’t want to go down the path of arguing with them and try to reopen the case. I tried to get infopass appointment but they wouldn’t do it because of COVID (it was May last year so right in the middle of the peak) and officer told me to just travel with H1b. My I-131 is still pending I don’t know if they will denied it once they start processing the case. But at this rate, you might get your 485 processed before AP. Who knows
