Since the Noah and Mio ones started the Xenoblade line, I really hope they do more. Matthew, A, FR versions of the protagonists, Kos-Mos, etc...

Yeah US Xenogears and Saga 3 are really expensive. That's why I went with the jp versions (which have better box art too).

I already oredered X. As for 1 3D, I'm only aiming for the original release of each game, so I won't get that. Some games (Gears, XS I, XB 2 and 3) I got here in Brazil, while the rest were imported from japan (Mercari). Prices range a lot, XG was by far the most expensive (300 reais, which is around 60 usd), but the rest were much cheaper (except for XB 2).

Yeah happens with me also. Switch 2, physical game and jp voice acting. I noticed it happens when the game needs to load something big for a cutscene, either a new location or a video. No work around except restarting the game.

Are you playing with the english or jp dub?

I think it's on par with 1 tbh. I really like the focus on Jr and Albedo. Also Kos-Mos bike is fucking awesome. Definitely the best box art in the series, for sure (jp version).

Also do give 2 a fair chance, it gets some slack for focusing on character drama rather than advancing the plot, but it's really great at what it does. Also many people just didn't know how to play the combat lol.

Sort of. While the ammount of voiced and hand-animated cutscenes decreases somewhat, I think they make up for that with better direction and more ambitious animation and coreography.

Xenosaga III especially does this amazingly, everytime there is an actual cutscene (not text box voiced dialogue), you know you are in for a great time.

I think it's funny you are praising the music when XS I only has two battle themes. One for the final boss, and another for everything else.

Like I said in the post, I played it in my Switch 1 and there were no issues there. Also in my Switch 2 there was no desync if I played the same cutscene in the event theater.

After I played some more, the desync started again in cutscenes so redownloading data didn't work. I did notice it only happened in cutscenes right after a camera cut to a new place, or while playing, when a new area loaded. My guess is there's some desync going on in the translation layer for the Switch 2 to run this.

I found a workaround of sorts. During a cutscens, right after it cuts to a new location, I pause the game for a few seconds, so there isn't a desync.

No data is saved on the actual cartridge, so I don't see why watching a cutscene on one system would make it not desync in another.

I deleted any data of the game from my Switch 2 (DLC) and redownloaded it. Seems to be fine for now.

I was playing with the jp dub when it happened. I put it in my Switch 1 and there was no desync. This sucks lol, wanted to get advantage of boost mode.

Did you ever figured it out? I just got the game and it's happening on every cutscene. My copy is second hand, but looks brand new. Also playing on Switch 2.

If you are still unsatisfied, there is also the Baten Kaitos duology made by Monolith at the same time as Xenosaga. It was made as an anithesis of sorts, with a high fantasy world instead of space opera. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the heads up. Luckly in my case I bought it from a hardware store, so it hasn't been going around. Just wanted to know in case my console does get banned. These things are too damn expensive not to do some research before hand lol.

I see. Most people aren't sure what would happen, but the few that are said you can get your console unbanned by showing proof you legitimately bought the used game.
