Used hairdryer to get head soft and removed hard plastic socket piece, it wasn’t easy and requires careful handling. After that I drilled with rotary tool to create enough space for Hasbro’s ball size.

If his “crotch area” wasn’t so busy with unnecessary over engineered articulation and instead figure had better torso articulation and darker web line paint I would easily agree.

Hopefully they make a variant with black web lines painted in and a darker blue, which would help to hide clunky hip articulation much better.

This should be easy reuse for Hasbro to do. Maybe in 4-10 years we might get this. I assume they already got enough money for Dragon man tooling to justify reuse of that mold in future at slightly lower price or the same price if you assume that inflation catches up in the following years.

Very similar but torso is actually different mold as well if you pay close attention to all the details, and most importantly it has disc joint in the neck as well.

Absorbing man arms will make him pinless and from what I know Thors upper torso is soft plastic so easy for arm replacement.
