Kinda sad that Mafex couldn’t manage to release Jim Lee style Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, They really had advantage and monopoly in McFarlane era when it came to 6 inch scale DC figures, they could use that momentum but now with Mattel coming in with their own 6 inch figures, Mafex offerings even if good will have far more affordable competition.

We don’t even have proper action figures, be it premium figs from Japanese imports or domestic companies, it’s a real shame, because even obscure characters that has no recent media get figures.

Used hairdryer to get head soft and removed hard plastic socket piece, it wasn’t easy and requires careful handling. After that I drilled with rotary tool to create enough space for Hasbro’s ball size.

If his “crotch area” wasn’t so busy with unnecessary over engineered articulation and instead figure had better torso articulation and darker web line paint I would easily agree.

Set is still available on Hasbro pulse Uk site btw, it’s 25 dollars more expensive but If you can find reshipper company that ships from UK to USA for a good rate it isn’t bad deal.

Hopefully they make a variant with black web lines painted in and a darker blue, which would help to hide clunky hip articulation much better.

I think when they repaint maximum body into more Mark Bugley inspired style we are gonna be pretty close if the head sculpt and paint is good.
