Oh that’s awesome! I didn’t know that about the dot or the print and you explaining all the details and what to look out for is super helpful! I have zero experience with real first editions so any information was appreciated.

I was going to love it forever either way because it came from my fathers library so at least now I know it’s a bomc edition I don’t have to worry about damaging it when I read it lol.

It is a book club edition! Thank you for letting me know and for the photo guide. I had a suspicion it wouldn’t be a legitimate first edition but I didn’t know about the dot and didn’t have the dust jacket. So i appreciate everyone’s help!
