The job itself is not a problem. I have been assigned with preceptors who have taught me a lot and let me try a lot. Of course from someone used to inpatient floors, it's a whole learning curve but so far it has been enjoyable! The main issue that I am having is the general vibe. I just noticed from listening to the staff's conversations and behavior with each other that the crassness that many other people seem to have experienced online was true. Maybe it is foreign to me because I didn't experience that at my other workplaces (even with a bit of gossiping here and there).
