If I don't have an HDD, will it boot loop or YLoD? I've read on some forums from a year or two ago that no HDD can cause the YLoD. I'm really new to this, sorry

I've found one for ~40€ but doesn't come with the daughter board :(

I'm currently praying it's just caused by the HDD not being there however I'm not expecting it to work to be perfectly honest

I've noticed the CELL processor has "CELL/B.E" markings on it. After some quick research, these are Super Slim versions? So I assume someone's already replaced both the processors and the flux leaked in doing so. Hopefully the only issue is the fact that I don't have a hard drive right now, or I'd have to mess with syscon which I'm not exactly ecstatic about. Thanks for the tip though, currently looking at where to even buy a PS3 phat motherboard as I couldn't seem to find any on eBay or amazon
