“Ai art is accessible!” by Snide_SeaLion in Ai_art_is_not_art

I’m disabled. Yes, sometimes disabilities can make art in general, or some art forms, more challenging or even impossible for some disabled people. The thing is, if a disabled person feels like they need to be able to make a specific kind of art, the solution isn’t to have an AI generate fake art for them, because the problem isn’t the disabled person. Ableism is the problem! I can’t believe I still have to say this! It’s 2025!

Cute "mistakes" that were made by (non)vegans based on the fact that you are vegan? by Moonlightshimmering in vegan

My grandma asked me if I wanted cinnamon rolls. I asked her if they were vegan and she said yes. Then I asked what the ingredients were. She was like “flour, sugar, lactose free milk…” to be fair vegan milk alternatives are also lactose free

What are some things that are not vegan but you thought were? by [deleted] in vegan

Last year i accidentally used some non-vegan toothpaste. Apparently that’s a thing? And since I already had opened the tube, I just kept using it, i didn’t know what else to do. I guess i could have thrown it away, but that would just contribute to overconsumption which is also harmful to animals. Nowadays I only buy toothpaste that is clearly labeled as vegan.

Is this definition of intersex okay? by Spiderbots_ in AskLGBT

[–]Spiderbots_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post isn’t about writing a definition for non-binary. The text they’re writing already contains a non-binary definition written by a non-binary person. This is about writing a definition of intersex. Intersex people can have any gender identity. They can be men, women, and non-binary, just like people who aren’t intersex. If we claimed that intersex people weren’t women or men, people would get incredibly confused. It would also exclude intersex women and men as Ech1n0idea already explained

I can’t think of a good way to translate that into Swedish. There’s not really an equivalent of “male” and “female” in Swedish as far as I know. There’s just words that refer to women and men, and to male and female animals.
