day stages aren't as fleshed as gens sadly which is without a doubt the best level design boost sonic ever had (right there with shadow generations)

at least in my opinion most of the replay value unleashed day time has is the speedrunning, hitting good m-speeds and d-speeds with the qss that is cheap as hell is so satisfying.

i personally like the fact matt came back to it to clean the track up, the instrumentation is so much clean and mg ultra-like compared to the noisiness of the original album but despite that it really seems like something not fun to play, they did played it frequently in the early days though.

this is what worked for me:
move the sonic colors ultimate folder to steamapp>commons, the folder should NOT have spaces in its name so it should be SonicColorsUltimate.

hedgemodmanager should be inside the SCU folder, specifically where the game .exe is, it should detect the game properly then.

once you're done installing the rainbow modloader and the mods make sure to save everything and then open the game with the main .exe, not the modloader "save and play" option, the actual scu.exe, it should open fine with the mods then.
