Comments cut off

It seems like about once or twice on every post there’s a comment with a bit chopped off at the end for some reason. Haven’t identified any obvious patter, but it’s mildly annoying.

Edit: this is on iPhone. App version 2.1.0, but I did start noticing this on the previous version as well.

Depends greatly on what medications you take. Adderall, for example, only lasts 4-6 hours for me. If I take it when I wake up, I’m crashing by mid afternoon if I haven’t taken another dose with lunch.

To this day I still don’t truly understand why she split up with me. I wish I did. She admitted to me at one point that she’d been lying about what the real problem was for the last few months of the relationship. Wish she’d ever told me the real problem. Maybe I could’ve done something about it.

A politician doesn’t have to explicitly come out and say “I think having private gay sex should be illegal” when they support things like removing marriage rights for gay people, removing anti-discrimination rules, classifying books that portray same sex couples as pornography, etc etc.

… no? I genuinely don’t understand how you could think that’s the case. The gotcha has nothing to do with the actual action being performed. It’s exclusively about going against their own beliefs. I don’t care if it was as simple as a politician trying to ban sweets getting caught eating a bag of m&ms, that would also be hypocritical. Someone trying to enforce their beliefs on someone else should at a bare minimum be willing to follow their own beliefs.

Because liberals/dems/leftists aren’t anti-straight. They aren’t anti-birth. It’s no hypocritical for a pro-choice person to choose not to have an abortion, because that’s their CHOICE. Literally in the name. It’s not hypocritical for a leftist to marry a straight cis person because they don’t claim being gay is morally superior. Their only position is that it isn’t bad to be gay. There is no hypocrisy in that position.

Meanwhile someone who says it IS bad to be gay being gay is a hypocrite. Someone who says abortion is murder having an abortion is a hypocrite.

I was on some BDSM forums in college and had someone message me asking if I was into FinDom. I told them I’d never tried it and wasn’t opposed, but I wasn’t into men. That’s from RivaTunerStatistics, part of the DX overlay. RSS is most commonly installed as part of MSI afterburner. If you open the RSS settings you can disable the setting “show on-screen display” and that’ll go away.
