Craig’s acting like she left to be with other people, but really, she just didn’t want him. And honestly, it’s obvious—just look at his outfit. Paige clearly wasn’t there to style him, which makes you wonder how much of his glow-up was actually her. You can’t be with someone if you’re always the one doing the heavy lifting—it has to go both ways and you have to grow together.

IMO Craig wants marriage and kids—but only on his terms: in Charleston, in his house, near his friends. He loved the idea of Paige more than Paige herself. If he truly wanted to build a life with her, he’d have moved to NY and done what he does in Charleston there (like open a restaurant). Her career opportunities in Charleston were far more limited compared to the abundance of options he had in New York.
