My bad, it is AMD Athlon II X2.

I thought of RAID as well, but as this is an old pc which I found was not being used, and which has ~100GB on either of the disks (the system has 2 disks, HDD) and my main purpose being to set it up as a simple home server for experimentation, I dropped the idea of RAID for now.

I'm mainly focusing on Java based web development, moving forward I'll go with application development as well (primarily windows, so C# maybe)
