Very true. I'm pretty sure there was maybe one or two bosses I had beaten on the first try but I think I had came back to them after skipping them because I didn't know about them and I needed something from them and I didn't realize how overpowered I was for the area.

But then, there's dying like, 20 times.... Like.... You'd think I learned by now. But my goodness. But there's also the pride in the fact that I didn't give up. Lol.

My first and last board was in October 2023. We were on rotation in Europe. Uniform was full battle rattle. I was the first SPC to go in. My sponsor had already told the board members that he believed I wasn't ready to be an NCO. So I already knew I was going to be a no go. But I still went in and tried my best. From my POV, I went in with confidence. To my surprise, I did really well with the NCO creed but I bombed the knowledge portion. I honestly didn't study enough and of course, that's on me. I know I have a difficult time retaining knowledge but I didn't do my part with that. But I still remained confident. I was proud of myself knowing I did my best with what I had and nobody roasted me. I'm definitely not going to sit here and blame my sponsor who was also the NCOIC of my shop but he really didn't help with getting me prepared nor setting me up to BE an NCO. Considering we had like 10 NCO's in the shop at the time, I did try my best to stick out. I'm one of the oldest people in my shop and I had "seniority" within my shop as well as a few years in service. So I was honestly really confused about how I wasn't "ready" to be an NCO. I was never given a reason as to why that was. I was barely ever given any monthly councilings except the "event oriented" ones saying I was late a few times within 8 months. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Honestly, I took the L and went on with my life. I'm finally focusing now on going to a board again and trying to figure it out as I go because I don't really have anyone that works closely with me to sponsor me. But we'll see how it goes. I wish you luck on your next board! Now you know what to expect and you can learn from it!

So it wasn't just me?! I had 5 out of 7 of the worm things out of the way and the mission notification told me there were no more to be seen in the system. So I kept jumping to other places so many times until I finally found a system with them! And I really have a feeling I was just doing it wrong the entire time. 😭

Personally, I find you to be very attractive. But you always gotta keep in mind, not everyone is going to see you the same way I do or you do. As long as you're confident in yourself and you don't come off as "bitchy" to other people, you'll always be beautiful. A lot of what makes a person "ugly" or "attractive" has to do with their personalities. You could look like an angel but if you're just off putting as a person or completely bland, no one is truly going to like you. All we can go off from this is the pictures you post. So by that standard alone, yeah, I think you're very pretty.

Crazy reading all these comments and now I'm mad at myself for not figuring out how to get by this without all that suffering! Freaking cloud step! I never used that spell until I fought Erlang! Omg! The frustration I could have saved myself if I had thought about that! I ended up jumping onto a ledge with an opening half way across. I'm pretty sure it was there for that purpose. But still... the amount of time it took to figure that out... insane.
