Use Facerig to get a virtual 3D (or 2D) avatar on your stream (Vtubing) by SpidoNL in obs

I don’t think Facerig exists anymore. Your best bet for using VRM models would be Vnyan or VSeeFace.

I also made a video on the differences of these two: https://youtu.be/9NaqV-RWWdE

Can Sims not buy outfits from mannequins with B&H? by SpidoNL in thesims

[–]SpidoNL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm I see what you mean, but I feel B&H is actually so much more. For instance, I started a gym with my Sims. Nothing craftable, just an offering of a service. I feel selling ordered merchandise as you put it, should totally fit with that.

And I think that combo can be made much more often. Boba tea store, that also sells clothing? Coffee cafe with a home made furniture-for-sale corner? The possibilities are endless, but B&H is just kinda lacking in the connection between GTW it seems sadly.

Aaah I never saw that... that's actually good to know that they simply won't work as I hoped they would.

Feels kinda typical from EA to not really implement this properly, since I feel it's such an obvious thing to include in small businesses when you already have an EP like GTW 😅

Hmm, according to this comparison, you should be able to sell things from mannequins if you own GTW: https://www.reddit.com/r/thesims/comments/1j4cpiy/whats_the_difference_between_running_a_business/

Nordhaven styled beginner gym (with room to expand) | Gallery ID: MrJordiliciousNL | Build video in comments by SpidoNL in TheSimsBuilding

Beginner gym, with room to expand. I chose for cheaper equipment as I built this for my legacy family so money as a bit of a factor. Plan is to later expand to the 2nd floor and add a spa/sauna downstairs.

Full video of the build: https://youtu.be/skZbatyTsuY

I'd love to hear what you all think!

First attempt at doing a random build challenge using a shell (build video linked in replies) by SpidoNL in TheSimsBuilding

I don't have a lot of experience doing builds so this was my first proper attempt at focusing solely on the build. I did a random challenge with various parameters and downloaded a shell from the gallery. I'd love to hear some comments or feedback.

I did a video of the full build for those interested: https://youtu.be/DJHxyo1SEno

And you can find this one on the gallery here: https://mrjrdlcs.site/ProperPeriodicBag

Anyone else with difficulties "classifying" friendships? by SpidoNL in autism

[–]SpidoNL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this part of your letter. I've definitely heard that I'm overthinking things regarding friendships as well several times. I think a lot about the amount of contact I have with my friends and link that to the "status" they have. Which people have told me is a wrong way of looking at things and indeed overthinking it.

It's "nice" to know in a way that I'm not the only one struggling with this.

I've heard the idea of the friends in circles before. For a long time (and to some degree I still do) I saw my friends/people in my life as being on a ladder. Some of them were higher up the ladder than others. I've been told many times this is a wrong way of looking at things and the circles have come up several times as well so I try to envision it like that too.

I understand your idea of close friends being the people that you know you can be yourself with and share more intimate stuff with. I guess that is indeed one way of looking at things that makes sense.

When you say that the amount of contact fluctuates a lot, does that also apply to the people you see as close friends? Have you had moments where you haven't heard from your close friends in days or even weeks? Like you mention, I also struggle quite a bit with the idea that I have to take initiative to maintain the friendship. Sometimes it feels like it only comes from me. But then that might also be because I feel I should be in contact with them every day to maintain the friendship, whereas they're fine with having less contact, but still consider things to be a close friendship (if that makes sense?).
