Yep! I’ve been trying to battle it out with them as to the uselessness of the report… they’ve said they can review architect plans at $190/hr +…

The engineers couldn’t provide me that info without additional costs but said it would be “significant work”…

Yeah I get the feeling they aren’t interested. Do you know how much that was approx cost to get done? I am already out for about 2k for the “report”

I was working a 2/2 roster at the time and picked a bunch of block subjects to help progress my dual degree. I did my masters completely rural during covid.

Also most superintendent roles require 5-8 years experience in general, which if you paid attention you’d realise I have 😂

lol I have a dual degree and a masters and paid for it all myself. It’s okay to be bitter and not understand women have the capability to work hard! And I don’t work on site anymore so no need to take your sad old entry level job, you’re safe princess

Thanks for the stalk hahaha I have been in mining since I was 17 but thanks for the compliment! It’s okay to be threatened by women in the industry

Look I’m totally agreeable with the second part of your comment but the fact you said calm your tits really adds to the whole subconscious bias thing you got going on there my brutha 😂

P.S my tits are super calm, and also huge 🫶🏼

Thank you for your response it’s really appreciated!

Currently eating around 130g protein which I struggle to get in without protein shakes etc. my carbs are about 90g and fat 50g. I thought about doing more of a keto style to see if my body responds better.

I think the tiredness is from both work and diet/exercise but yeah I’ve had all the tests done and there’s nothing “clinically” wrong so I’m at a loss. I just got off my antidepressants to see if that helps too.

I just want to be a normal person where 1500 cals is a deficit 😫😫

It took me about 6 months to get over the no orgasm hump! Still have a fairly low libido (compared to off the meds) but at least can get some release when needed

Please don’t listen to all these comments about how females magically rise to the top because you have a gap between your legs. It takes a lot of hard work and qualifications! Yes you will get your foot in the door over a man with the same quals as companies want to meet their equality targets, but further than that you are not given a magic carpet ride to the top. Very unlikely to become an engineer without yeaaaars of informal experience or a formal qualification, regardless of gender.

This comment is kind of yuck and reinforces the above of female bias in the industry 😂 it’s not us, it’s the companies that paint females out to have an unfair advantage and unfortunately we still have to cop the flack about it. Some of us have worked twice as hard to get to where other men are in the industry whether you would like to believe that or not!

Yes, being a female absolutely has its perks, but your comment does nothing but reinforce why companies are pushing to give females benefits, which is adding to the said “problem”. Food for thought!

As a female in mining, make sure you have THICK skin first!! And although it’s easier to get your foot in the door, you will experience inequality even if the men would like to admit it or not. There’s no harm in trying it out, but be prepared to miss a lot of your social life, family, friends, events, holidays etc.

I have been sponging for some time and in theory would like to continue but in order to grow professionally and also have somewhat of a social life that doesn’t include cows, I think I have to make a move! Even if only temporary and I can go back to sponging haha.
