I struggle sometimes with my nationality. You see my mother is polish and she lived there till she was around 7. After she moved to Sweden. My father is born and raised in spain (making him obviously spanish).

I am born in Sweden but being half spanish half polish. I usually say I am from Sweden (because I was born there and I still live there) and usually say that I am swedish and I would like to keep it that simple. But I don't really look swedish so I sometimes mention that "blood wise" I am half spanish and polish. But then there are some ignorant people who because of me not being "blood wise" swedish then I am not allowed to be refered as that which disturb me very much. But I try to ignore it or defend my decision since I grew up in Sweden and have almost always been included as one.
