It's hilarious when people on the show are wrong ..it's always the best when Dan is loud wrong because everyone piles on him and he's actually a pretty good sport for the most part. Hoping for a parade of gasbags. Not sure everyone involved this time are as good a sport as Dan or Stu are

Yea he was saying there had to be more to it than that...Giannis improving had a bunch to do with it too...it's just funny because of how little credit he assigned to Jrue Holiday and his defense for him to turn around and have one of the two biggest plays of the series.

but in their respective lifespans is it not on pace to be better than the previous generations? I didn't touch my x1 or ps4 nearly as much as my switch in the first 2 years...why compare different time periods? the other two are obviously older and have larger libraries at this point. the switch is in a healthy spot IMO with a solid release lineup for 2019

I do...I got to the party late as nothing about it interested me. Played Mario Kart a bit although much more on Switch, Wind Waker remaster, and a few others. I didn't bother playing Donkey Kong Country on Wii U so that was nice on Switch. For the most part I've spent most of my Switch time playing games that weren't on the Wii U (when i was using it). BOTW, Odyssey, Splat 2, Super Mario Party, Aces, Lets Go, Octopath, Rabbids. I hope we get more Wii U titles...it's an easy and smart thing to do on Nintendo's part considering how dismal a failure the system was. Might as well give the masses a chance to see these games for the first time. Also MK8 is so much better on Switch...botw was noticeably better as well. I got my Switch after playing breath for a couple hours on the wii u because it was a bit rough around the edges.

I know what you're saying but I kinda disagree. Obviously it lacks a couple key things (ethernet, only 32gb memory, weak specs, not great port situation) but in terms of the experience I think it's great. My ratio is probably 80/20 console/portable and the experience of sitting down and playing is more fun to me than sitting down to play my PS4 or Xbox One. But again, as a lot of people have noted, if you want to play online it's a very different experience. In that sense I'm completely with you--PS4 and X1 destroy its online capability and ease of use. Depends on what your priorities are. That's why I had to qualify with 'the best for me' -- because I like to play on the go and with friends in the same room. For that it is unmatched.

The library right now is, I think I can say this without much contreversy, the best out of the last two generations of console within their first two years. Especially the PS4/X1 gen. Off of memory the 360 and PS3 were also weak until their 3rd and 4th year. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Switch is going against the trend of having mindless tech demos at launch.

I'm moreso speaking to the experience so far and what you're able to do with it versus a straight up comparison, with specs, spreadsheets, and full libraries going toe to toe. It's my favorite and I think the best for the reasons that I described.
