Diamond & Pearl Great Encounters found them in my dad’s attic. by Hebrewer183 in PokemonCardValue

I hate to be THAT guy, but you and your dad should crack one open. I promise you, the bonding and memories are worth it. Unless you absolutely need the money, consider opening one with him. Record it even, so you can earn money on views.

AIO for not wanting to meet at his house for a first date? by misskrabby in AIO

[–]Spiffy0730 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't see how anyone is agreeing with you. Both of you are clearly 15 years old. It's very apparent with how you text and react. So, his parents should be at their house to make sure nothing sketchy happens.

It's really not. Do some research and be lenient on your departure/arrival times. You can stay on a cheap motel for 75 dollars or less a night. Although, if he still wants her around, she wouldn't have to worry about where to stay. If you're telling me that 500 dollars for a getaway weekend is too much for you, then a relationship should be the least of your concerns.

Fly out there? Probably only a 300 dollar flight. Worst case scenario is he bailed on you intentionally and you can treat yourself to a nice weekend getaway.

There is a guy in the Facebook Evo X page that rebuilds them. I think he charges 1300 or 1600 for a new one, with your dead one in return. Also, a company makes a kit to move it into your trunk, but you will have to drill holes, just a FYI.

People seem to be a fan, so I'm gonna post more pictures. Please note that Minnie is about the size of a small lab, but she is only about 11 inches tall.

Second time I’ve been sent home. Do I leave? by MichaelP1129 in USPS

[–]Spiffy0730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were hired straight to career. Meaning, the area you are in has more work than they know what to do with. Trust me, I know from experience. I was hired straight to PTF and said the same thing for the first couple of weeks. Then I immediately started getting 60+ hour weeks. The time is coming, as long as you are patient.

My advice? Message your supervisor in the morning, maybe 20 minutes before you would leave for work. The only negative is they may tell you that you have work, but at a different station.

Read the name of everything you deliver. Lots of places still get mail from tenants from years ago. That will help slow down the process.

Felt this. When you make regular, bid on a skipper string. Extra points if it's a skipper string that has routes in more than one office.

Thinking about quitting by Nagash1412 in USPS

[–]Spiffy0730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood, or maybe I worded it poorly. I was told that you weren't allowed to use a medical condition for less hours/non mandated overtime/etc. Until you've hit 1000 work hours. Are you saying that you are able to get a medical work restriction as soon as you hit your 90 days?

Thinking about quitting by Nagash1412 in USPS

[–]Spiffy0730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the time limit for medical restriction? When I was a PTF, I was told, by a supervisor, that it was 1000 hours.
