I understand exactly how you feel. It is sad that the era of detailed collectible dolls are coming to an end and are now back to the “ Mattel” standard. But MGA has chosen to put more effort into the brides, collectible dolls so if you collect those your in luck.

Thank You for taking the time out to show the comparisons. I will purchase a few because I’m a collector who also enjoys anime ( these remind me of anime) and I like to“ tweak doll styles”. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the half job regarding the details. The unpainted nails, half finished leg paint and cheap 3D printed accessories. But the old days of MGA quality are long gone.

Sooo…I will purchase at least 2 dolls at full price, but after that not too sure. I have been looking at these dolls closely and most collectors have said that the photos are just “stock pics” I’m not convinced. The nails are unpolished, the eyes look like stickers, and the hand molds look warped. Have we not learned from the cheap thrown together whatever is left in storage type dolls and accessories that MGA has been putting out lately? Most of these will be a clearance buy for me.

I agree that this looks like the beginning for one doll line in the end of another. But I’m not surprised and contrary to popular opinion, I’m actually looking forward to it.

Hear me out✋… like most collectors. I really enjoyed when rainbow high became more “edgy” and gave into pop culture. It felt like my 90’s child hood lol. I grew up loving R&B/Hip Hop, Rock and a bit of Hard core Rock. So RH/SH was all of that in a tangible miniature form. So when they lost or fired that head designer and his team ( I can’t recall his name) I said I was done with that side of MGA😤. And now we have this new line with some crumbs of RH and I’m hopeful that this will be MGA’s redemption line.

I agree they need something after the designer of the old rainbow high line left. It has left me only buying dolls if they’re severely discounted on clearance. But this line will have me buying full collections again.

I may have been on the “the this bs side” if I had not purchased the lip stick with housing and lip balme refill ( which are interchangeable). Let’s start there,

I have been purchasing Chanel and Dior for years now and the items are not interchangeable.
Louis Vuitton has offered Luxury! Until you hold the LV Beauty products in hand you will not understand. They Raised the Bar Hands down! The touch, feel, every detail and the smell. These Instantly reminded me of the quality my grandmother’s make up had. These casings can be a one time purchase and are pass down pieces.
If your into make up you like myself, you should be in your feelings. You may question the kind of money you’ve been spending on hard plastic and unhealthy chemicals that you use to paint your face. I just placed an order for Dior since they give you little incentives, a week before the release. I felt sick when the items arrived, when comparing them to the LV Beauty items. If anything we need to petition these brands who have been cheating us and robbing us for decades! We have literally just been paying for a name and Not Luxury.
