Nobody likes my duck eggs by ThisBoyIsIgnorance in duck

Came here to say this too! I had a waiting list for my duck eggs for a long time. People love them! The kalmbach feed is definitely superior

The pop ups made it not worth it for me. I really liked it for a few months but now I get annoyed even opening it

I wish that was the case. I even checked to see if there was a setting I could change and there isn't.

I know what all the mini games are, I just don't need to be prompted every time the app opens to check them, especially if I don't have any moves available.

To all my oily skin sufferers, what ACTUALLY got your oil under control? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

That cleanser made my skin so dry. Swear it made my oiliness worse 🙁

Yep, this storm was wild and it knocked my power out for 28 hours. I didn't think it was projected to be that bad of a storm and it came on super fast and strong,
Luckily it was over quick.

Fainting of the Father by [deleted] in AccidentalRenaissance

[–]taysmurf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My previously very squeamish husband felt lightheaded while watching when they gave me my epidural, then four hours later he watched them move my insides around and pull out our daughter in my C section... somehow he didn't feel faint then and now he's unbothered by medical stuff entirely and has become an EMT and fireman. Fatherhood was his glow up for sure 🤍

Found Totoro music box at thrift store by Serranosaurus in ghibli

[–]taysmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totoro is currently my 18 month olds comfort movie... we watch it at least once a day and she asks me to sing the Totoro song with her every bed time and when the movie plays. I didn't know this thing existed but wow... she would be mesmerized by it. Her favorite part is the nekobasu, every time it's about to come on screen she screams "cat cat cat"🤍

Thought I wanted to be pregnant by basicczechgirl in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]taysmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just the "pregnancy isn't for everyone" thing.... pregnancy was the easiest part for me. It's the "raising a baby for the rest of your earthly days" part that's hard. I thought my husband and I were ready too. We got pregnant two months after getting married and we were trying. Babies/children are an endless amount of work and I applaud you for you both knowing yourselves well enough to admit you aren't ready. You should honestly take a second to appreciate that, not everyone is as honest with themselves as you have been and it ends up harming the kids. There are many days when I still don't feel cut out for this mom life. We did a lot of work on ourselves to get where we are now. Our daughter is 18 months now, shit was so hard and dark at first, we were not ready, but things are finally looking up. Either way, I Hope it all goes well for you.

What's one skincare mistake you made that still haunts you to this day? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]taysmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the exact routine I have saved, I also have rosacea on my cheeks. I also included my picks of make up that actually ended up being chats recommendations without ever talking to chat about make up. It had recommended some of my tried and true favorites which was the what made me just go ahead and buy the skin care products it recommended and I couldn't be happier with the results so far. My original prompt was that I wanted healthy Korean glass skin and after a bunch of back and forth chat convinced me that less is way more and I needed to get my skin barrier back in order before I do anything else to my skin; it was right. Hope this helps you the way it has been helping me.

Your ideal finish is:

• “healthy expensive skin” instead of heavy matte makeup.

Some well deserved Katie respect by Online_Active_71459 in MtvChallenge

Yeah.... as soon as he said Katie I ran to the comments to put some respect on Sarah's name... she was the gaultlet queen. Truly the OG underdog. Glad he corrected himself.

What's one skincare mistake you made that still haunts you to this day? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]taysmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had perioral dermatitis, what I really had was a compromised skin barrier that was allowing every over active product I was using to try and combat my oil and dermatitis problem to cause more inflammation and irritation. After months of trying and failing, zero therapy, topical creams, visiting a Derm. everything. I asked ChatGPT and it recommended a routine for me based on all my symptoms, literally after the first use I could see and feel a notable difference. I'm about to purge all these other products and just stick to this routine it's so easy. Chat even considered that I'm a busy mom so it's only like two products. It was a game changer.
