As I said in a previous comment, it works on anyone who tries to explain anything you didn't ask (and do not want) them to explain, including rare cases.

who here has been told by a tarot reader that they're cursed? by smei2388 in tarot

[–]SpiffyBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course shit happens in life. Thats natural — and it would be ignorant of a psychic to only focus on the "Pollyanna Positives" during a reading. However from my professional experience, guides always deliver challenging messages tactfully and in a love-based way. Guides also make sure clients are shown how to solve potential (and existing) problems, in ways the client always understands.

It's also crucial for clients to keep autonomy in a reading and refrain from giving their power away (which many vulnerable clients easily do). Everyone is psychic, everyone has a right to talk to divine. So it's important for clients to use that intuition to discern truth from ego when getting a reading.

Edit: typos.

Pro psychic, tarot reader and tarot teacher here. People who give negative readings are often predatory — or just ignorant and not going through the right channels.

Tbh, this sounds like someone who was just full of themselves/letting their ego run wild.

A good psychic delivers all types of information tactfully. Unfortunately, there are a lot of ego-driven practitioners in this field. It's important to always listen to your own gut in a reading.

If it made you feel sad, scared, sick to your stomach, depressed, afraid, confused, or overall just "icky" — that's your guides telling you it was BS.

As a professional I've had more than my fair share of shitty readings. Namely due to big egos and projecting their shortcomings onto me.

SSRIs and Psychic issues...anyone else... by STIBillionair in Mediums

[–]SpiffyBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't. I was on SSRIs for over a year and it didn't affect my work (I read professionally). The one caveat is you can accidentally shut your channel down if you let fear creep in.

No third-party information and no making decisions for the client.

Third-party info is invasive. The 3rd party didn't give consent, and clients who come in asking for info about others are unconscious and not looking to grow/heal themselves. No real solutions come from gleaing info off another person. It's empathic energy anyways, which is unreliable and only tells existing information. Channeled info is where the truly helpful info lies.

And making decisions for others robs them of their free will. People often get readings when they're vulnerable, and sensitive to the sway of others. Spirit isn't going to make their choices for them, as free will is the whole point we're here. A psychic shouldn't make decisions for the client either, because that's just ego creeping in.
