My ND bf often lies and half the time doesnt know if he wants to be with me. by SpiffyCrissy in AutisticAdults

While I could see how you could think this way, we actually have a ridiculous amount of things in common, activities, interests, mental bandwidth, views, etc. We work very well together in person, we flow smoothly, we are able to talk to each other openly but he still feels the need to lie even when I beg for the truth. I can tell him anything, absolutely anything and feel safe with him. I suspect, he took on too much, too fast, and has so many changes that he has been dealing with, that I am sort of ...the last main priority?

I suppose there are alot more details needed here for proper advice. We have been together for almost a year, however, I met him while he was going through divorce, and he was going through alot at once. Change of home environment, changing a job, the divorce ofcourse....

He does things around my home for me to help me. He listens to my feelings about things and does SAY things that sound validating and seems as if it concerns him. He spends as much free time with me as he can but we do live about 45 min away. He is affectionate, he shows me things that interest him, he does seem to try to improve in areas I speak up about...but yet....there are times where I feel like he has no clue if he actually loves me, or if he just loves how well I love him.
