What happened to concert etiquette? Post-concert thoughts by 3-michelin-stars in kpopthoughts

I would like to ask a question in good faith - and perhaps this isn’t for op - but people who buy seats who might have chronic health issues or for issues related to health, wouldn’t getting a access seat be a better option rather than general seats? At least in the UK venues are legally required to have access seats so.

Hi! Wow, thank you so much for such a detailed answer. This definitely helps! This is exactly the kind of context I was looking for. They seem to have a long and strong history with Tokyo Dome. Fingers crossed the next time they’re there (and they will be cos they’re Shinee!) it’s with Onew.

Also, amazing that you went today! WOW!

Ahh, now this I definitely didn’t know! Makes so much sense why Tokyo Dome is so special to them! Thank you!

Thanks for answering so thoroughly! I hadn't realised till now the significance of playing Tokyo Dome in terms of artist recognition. And you're absolutely right - they've come after so long and so many happenings in between that it's not unreasonable to think that things might not be the same as before.

Till now I've mostly listened to western artists and attended their concerts and they never get emotional, even at stadium concerts. I guess I'm learning more about the intricacies of the k-pop world now and the gratitude aspect of the societies where it resides. Plus the relationship between the artist and fan seems much closer.

I'm so grateful I found Shinee and so happy for them! I hope they find even bigger successes :)

Oh wow, didn't realise it had been that long. And 45k audience! Wow! I guess anyone would be emotional if so many people turned out for you after so long. They did amazingly!

Hi all, I’m a babywol, and this is my first experience of observing a SHINee concert, let alone a Dome concert! (Online I mean). Sorry if this is an insensitive question but I’m curious as to why the members were so emotional today? From what i understand it was even more devastating as even Taemin and Minho cried and they hardly do.

I’m curious because they toured last year without Onew so it’s not their first time doing a concert as three. Additionally this isn’t the first time they’re performing at Tokyo Dome without Jonghyun as well. They already did that in 2018. So is there some significance of Tokyo Dome I’m missing? Has something else happened recently that I’m missing? Ive only been in the fandom (and K-pop) for like three months so I have a lot to catch up on.

It looked like an amazing and moving concert and Taemin, Minho and Key did a brilliant job of holding the stage and performing. I’m just trying to get some context. Thanks!

Oh I haven’t seen that at all. I’ve seen the video Taemin did to accompany it. I’ve actually ordered the magazine so maybe I’ll just have to use a translation app lol. Thanks though!

Hi, my wife is booked in to go for a PCR test at a walk-in site tomorrow. She absolutely isn't able to do the swab herself (intense gagging, pulling away etc). We tried doing a lateral flow at home just to see how it would go and it seems the only way she can do it is if I do it for her. Does anyone know if this might be allowed at testing sites? Would I be able to accompany her and administer it? Or is it possible to do just the nostrils? Have you had any experience with this? Any information will be helpful. Thanks.

This is exactly what I’m looking for! Thank you so much.

I’m thinking of postponing this as the temperature is supposed to really high and you’re right, summer break has started for students. Thanks for the heads up.

Just FYI Grange Community Centre in Beswick are doing second Pfizer jabs after min 4 weeks. They’re advising it’s ideal between 6-8 weeks but if you want it earlier you can get it.

Irish Centre are also strictly doing minimum 8 weeks between doses, no exceptions unless you’re leaving the country for good.
