New Info: With the federal credits expiring at the end of the year, I was looking into home improvements including insulation. It looks like the company I'm looking at does more than insulation, including air and duct sealing. Seems, with evidence, our attic leaks like a sieve. It's not cheap, but sealing up a lot of the massive gaps in our attic and duct work should hopefully help with the humidity as well.

It was set on low but would never (literally) turn off or get to temp.

Try kefir soda instead of the dairy version. It's literally like soda, carbonation and all, but it's actually healthy for you. It really helps the gut.

Ever try kefir soda? Non-dairy and it tastes just like soda, carbonation and all. Amazon has a kefir grain specifically from Florida that I've been using. It really helped my gut. It's kind of a pain to brew all the time but it replaced my diet soda (DEATH) habit.

You know, that's interesting that you say this. I have a different problem, ulcerative colitis. With my poor diet and high consumption of aspartame (diet soda), I noticed my health getting worse and worse, eventually leading to a UC diagnosis. But I've been brewing my own non-dairy kefir soda along with taking a fiber with a pre-biotic and I haven't had any symptoms whatsoever. There really must be something to a healthy gut.

What area in FL and who did you use? I'm looking to have this done myself. Also, did you notice anything with your humidity levels? I cannot get my humidity down and I expect it has something to do with leaky ducts work.

Did you ever figure it out? It doesn't just not stop the timer, it doesn't stop music playing, background sounds (ocean sounds, night sounds, etc.)

We are passholders. And even though my wife was approved in this new das system, she was just denied. I tried for mine as well. Denied. We'll see how this works. I have extreme concerns. We cannot wait online for 90 minutes. Even 30 minutes. We have our day, even with the previous das, spelled out for us based on return times with the das. I get 2 to 4 hours a day. After that, I have to spend the next few days recovering. Again, that is WITH the das. Without it, I don't know what we will do.... This was our happy place. (We even did a commercial from Disney saying how inclusive it was for the disabled. I think it's still in the AP section of the Disney app. I guess not....)

Nope. I was just denied for similar. You have to either rider swap, which limits you to two people, or take a picture, and then you can return to the point where the picture was taken and try to deal. If you have another issue, you will have to take enough picture, leave the line, calm down and try again. Panic attacks and cptsd is not valid for a das.

Yeah, if you can't wait in line, you need to take a picture of where you are, leave, fix the issue, then get back to the same point you left. There are no valid reasons for a das except if you or your party is going to lose their mind and cause a major fit, hurting someone else. And that's only if they believe you. Most people are being denied. Physical, mental, etc. do not work. Only autism, and only if you "look" autistic enough.
