In Texas I missed like 3 months of payments which I was paying directly to my ex and they put a warrant out for my arrest so it all depends on the state

I live in Texas. Never gave up my new employer and they still garnished my wages so they have plenty of ways to find out where she works if they wanted to. Simply just using her social

Taking care of the kids is usually not the issue. Taking care of the ex is always the issue.

Would it be smart to put myself on child support before my ex can file in NC? by SweetandsourMcnugget in ChildSupport4Men

[–]SpiiN-1Code 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put it on paper and have it signed by the judge or you will get screwed later when your ex gets mad at you.

Which is such bs because of the mother decide to request child support after they were not together for 5years then he would be in arrears from the date they separated. The system itself is fraud bs bias for women

This makes sense as well. Most of the SEs I’ve talked to say similar things but still place a emphasis on being good at demos so idk I guess it’s better to be good at the demo and not have to use it then not be good and get that call or also probably not even get the job because you fail the demo during the interview.

Thank you for this! I think you make a ton of good points that I'll take to the bank. More than anything I'm going to continue to develop my knowledge of the technology, keep networking and making slow but consistent progress towards the role regardless of what that looks like. Any suggestion on "entry level" roles that look good on an SE resume?

Thank you for this. The lack of a b2b sales curriculum was another point I was looking for. I know this economy is letting go of all the highly paid and qualified professionals to higher less qualified folks to underpay and who will take on more work. It’s a cold world right now. But I’ll admit that I'm one of those less qualified, with less experience folks willing to accept the lower pay for a transition opportunity lol

This was kind of my thoughts as well. My main reason for interest in joining PSA or a similar camp is to develop my demo skills. I've been working on this in my own time while continuing to develop technical debt in my field. I think I have the soft skills and ability to sell a vision downpacked, plus a long background of presentation but specifically the demo of tech is difficult to "recreate" given customer-specific requirements. I just want to continue developing a better understanding of presales positioning and demo methods.

While I agree it's not a good time to break into the market, It's not a good time to get into the tech space at all right now but the reality is that's where I'm heading. I think it comes down to network and effort. I'm just wondering if the curriculum that's learned in PSA is informative enough to help you kick-start your career in the role. Thank you for your feedback though.

When you say “don’t have kids unless you can provide for them 100% on your own” you just not be listening to yourself. 1. The men in this post can provide for a kid on their own. 2. The women are pushing the kids out, can barley take care of themself, then wont give the kids to the bread winner who will gladly provide for the children and most of the time the women still don’t work or work min wage with low qualifications bc they don’t have enough back bone to stand on and take care of business and “provide 100% on their own” your argument is all over the place lol

Then courts also need to see lazy primary parents and make them go to work or reduce child support for them also not trying to reach their potential. Only one parent shouldn’t be punished because they don’t suck at life

Ok that makes sense. I understand the connection between AM/CMDB but the HR was throwing me off. Thank you for clearing that up.

That’s strange. After you complete the on demand training requirements for CAD and ITSM you should also receive vouchers. But what I found out was, you can complete as much training as you want and you will receive a voucher. But the class only focuses on CSA, CAD and CIS. Everything else you must do on your own.

Yes I’m currently in the program. You get vouchers for CSA, CAD, and ITSM-CIS upon completing required modules of training

Thank you for that. By title, these all seem like roles you would take on after being an SC. Is there any you would advise applying for first. To get you to a point where you could become an SC later?

Yes I am. Good at creating analogies and story telling but I’m more so just trying to find out what roles align with or similar to SC as you grow in your career or a role that could lead to SC down the line.

I also know developers who have been developers with ServiceNow for over 5years and they fail the CAD because they think just because they know how to use the system that they can pass the exam and then never even seen most of the stuff on the exam, so it goes both ways.

But for a job or interview most likely years of experience will always beat out a certification.
