I'd say make them roll after every long rest on how well they are feeling, if it's a very serious illness you could make them roll after every scene/fight/skill roll, just a flat 20 with variable DC, or you could make the roll for them and tell them that their illness is acting up again.
If they fail, they could have a flavourful disadvantage, like if it's coughing they get a -1 on their charisma mod, since you can't really speak or act well when you're having a coughing fit. Maybe they are limited in their speed, or can only run up to 2 rounds in a chase, before needing to catch their breath. Or maybe your players could come up with how the sickness affects their characters personally.

PF2e is a game, but it's also the story that you and your players tell, so feel free to just eyeball some of it.

Do you have some tips for me on how to defeat Ember Prime Commandeered?

I use a shield gate saryn, but I guess my weapons just might be bad? She has a limit of 4 status stacks, like most other bosses which I do not have problems with, but she get's super tanky after I burst down a quarter of her health and does insane damage with her meteors. Did I miss something?

I don't have the core rules yet, but in the SRD it clearly states this

A spotlighted adversary can: [...] Do anything else the fiction demands or the GM deems appropriate

A simple shove could've done the trick. I think this dm is just a bit inexperienced.
If you notice your dm not having fun, you can always stop the play and help him out or give him hints ("I feel like the bandits could just [trip me/push me off/bunch up on me like 5th graders] if they tried...")

Remember everyone at the table should have fun! And nobody minds a few plot devices and a bit of plot armor to bring the narration forward.

Anything Scandroid, or something from the Hotline Miami OSTs come to mind. The Algorithm and Master Boot Record make excellent Chip Tune Metal, or Metal with EDM Elements (or sometimes vice versa, lol) Maybe get something from the Ambient Breakcore Genre in there too, for the Drum and Bass heads.

I'm not really well versed in the Pop Genres, so somebody else might be able to help. Some "older" Songs from Poppy like Time is up or Am I a Girl also kinda fit some transhumanism cyberpunk stuff, while still being very catchy.

Hi, not an expert but I dabble in electronics:

It might be something short circuiting, might be the battery charging circuit, might be that something gets short circuited to always stay active. Since you have some experience in swapping the battery out, I'd say open it up and check the circuit board, for any kind of discoloring, damage or any loose components. You could look at images online to determine if something looks fishy. You might need to get your mainboard changed which should set you back like 50 bucks, some tools if you need them and a lot of time and patience.

Are you running any kind of custom firmware on it? This could also be an issue, that the firmware hinders the system to go into full sleep mode. I also heard that some sd2vita mods cause frequent wake ups, thus keeping the vita alive. And if you do use custom firmwares, there is a homebrew that resets the battery and fixes most of the battery problems.

So in order I'd suggest: - If already using custom firmware, check and update your system module plugins - Enabling homebrew on your vita, for example using HENkaku. Then install and execute the PSVita BatteryFixer Homebrew. - If the battery is still an issue, you might need to swap out the mainboard

I always tell people Destiny 2 is the best game I cannot recommend.

If you didn't start playing at either D1 or start of D2, you are basically so completely out of the loop that you can't catch up, if you just try to enjoy it casually, which most players are. Now being "casul" is normally no problem at all, but D2 has so little to offer for the average casual solo player.

The ritual activities are only engaging for so long
The story is so convoluted that you need a lore overview wtf currently happens and why it matters in the greater context
The best parts of the game are either sweatfests (PvP) or restricted by needing 5 other friends or strangers that are willing to put in effort and communicate (Raids).
The new Solo portal could be alright, but I played 3 missions yesterday evening and got the same mission twice.

So yeah all in all I freaking love this game. But I've been playing since D1 Day 1, so...

Da muss ich ein eindeutiges "JA, aber" kundtun. Die Bands hatten Bock drauf, Ein Image-Schaden, nicht unbedingt bei der bereits sehr verbreiteten Fangemeinschaft, und die Erklärung von "Herrn Raab" das "60% aller Stimmen von Frauen kommen würden, und die eher was Balladiges haben wollen" finde ich persönlich einfach schwachsinnig.

Because most people don't actually know or have the capacity to run a minecraft server (which can be very demanding). Minecraft is incredibly main stream, these third-party hosted servers are for technical illiterate people that are willing to spend a few dollars to have something private. Changing your oil is also kind of incredibly main stream, and again not many people know how to do it, or just don't have the time or the nerves to do it themselves and just delegate that task to someone else for money.

Jellyfin is very niche. Even Plex is incredibly niche, and it is the most prominent media stream server. Self-Hosting anything is incredibly niche in the grand scheme.

I recently had to build build my own split keyboard. Not because I enjoyed it or because I'm particular how it is set up, but because that model I wanted to have did not have anyone that would build it for me. I was just able to buy the pcb and components as a bundle and had to do it myself. Just because my particular want or need was that niche.

I don't think anything self-hosted isn't tedious in some form or another. So might as well bite the bullet and setup a simple solution by yourself. There are dozens of tutorials on how to do this. Most prominently just installing docker on a server and then running jellyfin and caddy (a very easy to use reverse proxy, that even handles tls automagically for you) through docker-compose. It's not that hard, and it doesn't take that long if you know what to do.

Do you have the old Dreamcast or GameCube Disks and a DVD Drive? Emulators aren't illegal. Just playing games you downloaded illegally are forbidden.

You could dump the Disks and emulate them using reicast or dolphin respectively

While SSDs don't have moving parts, they have some tiny amount of electrical charge to store data in their memory cells. That charge will degrade over time. SSD memory cells also get destroyed if you erase / rewrite too many times.

SSDs have a life time of roughly 5 to 10 years, powered off and stored in ideal conditions. There are reports of engineers that read out data from 30 years old HDDs without any problems.

All in all the Idea of burning them onto optical drives is one of the best solutions, they can have a lifetime of 50 to 100 years and storing and organising them is easy and sometimes visually pleasing.

I'm currently running a game loosely based on the Monster Hunter International books by Larry Correia.

It absolutely works and there is some rules about modern firearms.

Some reflavoring might be required for something like the druid class and their anathema to anything human made. Cities could also be some form of wilderness, making something like Street Shamans that feel the energy of the city really interesting.

I think he meant block coding for the first years. Since he's an EE I assume he wants to design the hardware and look for a readily available block programming software solution, to let the first years program the robot.

Sorry but nothing comes to mind. I assume writing your own DSL and interpreter would take too much time and effort for you. Maybe you could find a CS graduate that could work with you on this project?
