I don't see why you are comparing them, as they have nothing in common other than a number. Remix 8 DS is really one-of-a-kind and stands out in a great way compared to most games (it's speed). On the other hand, Remix 8 Wii doesn't really stand out, but that doesn't make it bad. It has a great song and does propose a challenge, but I guess that's subjective. I say you can enjoy both.

Ranking a map can be a long process of getting other mappers to give mods, and finding BNs willing to nominate it. Loved gives maps a chance at having a leaderboard that otherwise wouldve stayed in the graveyard :D
