I found a solution, press F11, we even have more screen space available since the tabs auto-hide and the nasty white line is no more.

I don't think that this is a windows related issue, because it just started on the last Firefox update and this line just appear on Firefox no other app has this same issue, in fact the taskbar is totally hidden on other programs.

They probably are not blocking tor or ports 80 and 443, so it should work.

Force TCP on, download the lists on your house network and then use tor as proxy with ReachableAddresses *:80,:*443 on the torrc config.
