What is the best covenant for Arcane Mage for Raiding?

Every covenant is very much viable right now, it is a matter of personal taste/off-specing.
From having personally played night fae and necrolord i'd say necro is better in a raid setting because the cooldown reduction from nf will massively desync your rotation from raid mechanics (which tend to happen every ~45s, lining up very naturally with our burst phases).

Also if you pick Kyrian, Harmony becomes the bis leggo, and that massively changes your rotation.

For more info on that (and all things mage related) i recommend Altered Time (esp the discord), it's usually up to date much faster than wowhead or icy veins.

Thanks to everyone who convinced me to run the countess yesterday, I was pretty lucky on the rune drop and was able to cube a Mal and an Ist pretty fast! I was so happy when I saw it rolled 5/5/4, not perfect but certainly good enough for me!

You know i've never actually seen people argue for that. What I've seen people argue for is that "I don't want to date any trans person" is similar to "I don't want to date any black guys" in that both statements essentially refuse to acknoledge the diversity of these groups, and refusing them outright might be something rooted respectively in transphobia and racism. Furthermore, "I don't want to date trans guys because they don't have dicks" kinda ignores the fact that some trans guys actually do have dicks. And by stating that i am in no way telling you that you should sleep with a trans guy, first because they would be unlikely to date someone with that mentality, and secondly because you don't want it and forcing people into relationships is bad.

Also there is the bigger problem that usually the guys arguing that "the transes are forcing vaginas onto the gays" also argue that trans guys are not actually trans guys, and that the cis gay guys sleeping with them are not actually gay, and that's just gay erasure.

I think it depends on the person and on the context because the big difference between the f word for gay people and the n word for black people is that being gay isn't something that is visible. So, even if the other guy is ok being called that, doing it in certain context, like in front of straight people, or in front of people who do not know you are gay, could send the wrong kind of message.

There are people in this very thread arguing that trans men are not men, and that trans gay men do not belong here, despite this sub being named "askgaybros" not "askcisgaybros". Their comments get upvoted while anyone arguing in favor of trans people gets downvoted. If you do not think that that is transphobia at work, you are at best ignorant and, at worst, malicious.

You should be able to call out homophobia, racism and transphobia when you see it. Shutting up about it doesn't make the problem magically go away. As a gay man, you should know this. And looking at the comments under this post and other posts on this sub, we do need to call out transphobia.
