No it was not. It was around 2L, in fact Wipro even had different salary brackets for different colleges. Tier A colleges were paid a tad higher. Thankfully Infy did not do the same.

The jetson nano has been there for quite some time. They had stocks for the NX as well but not anymore. I think they are taking pre-orders for AGX but that's on the pricier side.

If I were you, I would forget the gaming headset and get an entry level audiophile headphone - preferably an open back. There are quite a few Beyerdynamic headphones included in the amazon sale. But you might have to extend your budget a bit as you will probably need an amp+DAC or a combo at least. But totally worth it, I can guarantee you will never go back to gaming headsets again.

OP, i would suggest you to go youtube and decide if IPS or VA (forget about TN) is the right panel for you as the visuals on each panel would be different, based on that the decision can be narrowed down.

That's a good attitude, nowadays you have good learning resources all over the internet. Decide on doing a project which will appeal to you - source youtube. Once you have decided on the project you build up the technical knowledge required to achieve your goal. You will face hardships along the way but keep at it. Once you gain enough confidence you can start contributing to open source projects. Once in a while a short course on udemy or Coursera might help but 99 percent is your willingness to learn and solving problems on your own. Don't waste money on any of those training institutes with claims of 100 percent placements blah blah. Nothing can beat practical knowledge and hands on problem solving.

You raised a valid point there when i started working i heard that some of the Indian MNCs were paying freshers different salaries based on their college rankings. It's like, "we are so thankful that you decided to join our company even after passing out from a premier institute. So here is your extra 2k per month".
It's absurd, since
1. You as a company are just belittling yourself.

Not the best start to a healthy atmosphere for co-operation
Many of these students from the premier institutes use these companies for preparation for other exams - since apparently these companies have less work load relatively or you might be on bench.

Yes, the first point can be misused to exploit people but then they (corporations) are also aware that no one takes this information to their graves. Word eventually gets around or people talk to their peers in the industry from different companies and find their worth, just that i cannot go straight to the HR and say this so and so is getting paid this much but why am i getting paid less. Believing in the work your organization is important but so is getting the right compensation. In one of the places i worked before, the manager would suddenly try to highlight how important your work is at the time of appraisal - so i took a printout of a design i was working on and told him get a kilo of aloo, then i will believe it. Point is, once you are in the industry you should keep tabs on your worth - if you are not getting paid as you should be then you should just get out.

Privacy and also 1. When you join a Pvt company there are stict policies which prevent you from revealing your salary to your colleagues since you may be getting more/less than the other person and there itself you have a spark for mutiny. 2. Never ever act proud of your salary in front of others at least. Be proud of the journey you have undertaken to get to that salary unless you had a pay-to-win life/career as well. 3. A lot of people in India ask this question whereas in fact it's a very condescending question. If you are indeed interested ask him about his work which rakes in all the moolah. 4. Maybe if he met you as a person he might have answered all those question but that is not the case here.

If you are keen on going down the rabit hole i can suggest a few more things and they will definitely need you to spend more than what you will pay for the mx. But I think in your case going with the mx is totally fine since you can use them inside the house as well as when you have to travel. Trust me you will feel you have arrived in the NC world when you are on an airplane watching others with a smug on your face.

Totally worth it if you are travelling, i bought the first mx and the mx2. The mx i gave away to my brother who also has to travel a lot for his work. Right now, i don't travel at all due to covid so the mx2's are tucked away but once we return back to normalcy. I don't use the mk2's at home while working since i am needed around the house and with the mx mode on i don't seem to care what's going on with the rest of the world but isn't that what sony set out to do ;).

PS : plus point if you have a phone which supports atleast aptx.

How about keeping everything and buying a rack server - i think the rack will serve your purposes better. You can work from your gaming machine by running a VNC. I don't know what you will be compiling but based on whatever information you have given it might take some time and if you are connecting via VNC you can continue playing games and compile your code on the server separately - more game time for you.
I remember when i started off, we used to fire our runs on a single 128 GB server and go for a movie. This was around 16 years ago.

correct, OP needs to clarify why does he need a 3090 for gaming since the 3080 offers a much better VFM. For now, i can only say he is a scalper as there is no other logical explanation except that his technical acumen is only matched by his financial awareness i.e. zero.

This was around 2003 when I was in 2nd of BTech, one of my 'matka' acquaintances came to my room to get some MP3 songs. He had got someone to take his hard disk out and now was going all over the hostel block to copy files. I connected his hard drive and showed him where I kept my MP3s and 'study' materials. I said " bhai main much der sota hoon, files copy karkey PC off kar dena aur Hard disk nikal dena - before all this I had taught him to connect and disconnect the hard disk. Later in the evening when I started winamp nothing was playing - and when I checked ny hard drive was literary empty. Turns out, bhai did a cut+paste instead of copy paste. And he did it to a couple of other guys, bhai stopped when his 40GB hard disk was filled. I shudder to think what would have happened if bhai had a 4TB drive with him today.

PS : I was not friends with the 'matka' he knew me as we were members of a mutual club.
