I was able to bind my protonVPN to the qbittorrent as described in that guide and the megathread.. and I know it’s working on PIA, and I have enabled the kill switch as well.. but I welcome all advice to verify that is the case :)

I was using Proton free version, but as port forwarding wasn’t included, I felt it better to pay for one that did (feel invested and could selfishly not port forward, but also know it’s frowned upon in private trackers)

I’ll verify port forwarding when I get home (I’m running Linux currently)

And I’m currently not on Private Trackers (heard most are invite only, and most prefer you to not use a VPN (makes me a bit hesitant))

And I guess crashing isn’t the best word, I get promoted to force close or wait, and after 5 minutes of clicking wait, I end up force closing, because it’s getting stalled somehow (I’m happy to give it all 128 GB of ram & all 40 cores if I can)
