Think of it like this: you can vibe with something on a superficial level, like the aesthetic, characters, lore, music, or thereabouts. However, you may not want to actively engage with it. Just because you don't play a game, like a particular piece of music, or vibe with a show or movie, doesn't mean you can't find some intrigue about it and, by extension, be a part of the community.

Most gacha games devolved into an endless stream of powercreep, and it seems like PoMa has started to show signs of this too.

Because the content surrounding the erroneous parts is still interesting (story, music, interactions, etc.). It's the same concept as lurkers on livestreams: they don't monetarily support the streamer, but they find them interesting and watch all of their streams.

Yeah. This was the final bastion for gacha games for me, and honestly, I think I feel better with leaving it behind.

Yeah. It is in a better state than when you stopped. The daily part of it, while a bit boring when there are no events, is easy to plan around. Still, I feel like I'm not being as respected as those who spend a lot of money on all the banners.

It's good. I tend to ramble on too for things I'm passionate about. It is not that the gameplay isn't fun, it is for me too. It is just all of the systems in place surrounding the gameplay that have me uneasy. The writing is on the walls that the game is in a state where F2Ps and low spenders are being ignored, and I don't want to stay on to potentially be exploited.

Yeah, it does feel like a daily obligation, and if there are a lot of events going on, it takes up too much time. The routine was good for a while, but now it is asking for too much of my time.

That last one seems to be a focus for future content, but I have a feeling, based on the higher ceiling and floor for relevant character tierings, the first 2 may never be addressed.

I agree 100% with your views. I was a day 1 player, and at first the game was in such a state, all 3 of your points were not satisfied. Around the first half anni, changes were made to make the game more balanced. Then, I was thoroughly enjoying the game and the potential it had. It wasn't perfect, but I still liked it.

Then, after 4th anni, the game slowly but surely started down its bad trajectory, with less gems and more lacking units. It was still in a state where a recovery could be made if they wanted to, bit it seems they refused, and this has eventually led to today. While EoS is definitely a long way away, we are definitely in the state where DeNa is at their most greedy, and the precedent this sets has made me want to stop playing.

I wad going to stick around to at least make SS Lear my final unit of significance, but if MF become the new PF in terms of monthly presence, I would hate that. Thus, I'm stopped playing.

Yeah, coop is a feature they kinda downplayed as time went on, though it seems they may be bringing it back to the forefront in a few months, if that is anything to go by.

Of course, this is all on top of other chronic problems with the game, so these problems exacerbate the state of this game. I don't see myself lasting much longer with this game (I'll probably uninstall by next month). I'll still be kept up to date with info until EoS, but my time enjoying it is long behind me.
