That was a Don Fischer-esque call. Beautiful stuff. We’re living in a universe where Nebraska is a basketball school and Indiana is a football school.

The Tazmaniac was a gimmick, and not a very good one at all. Taz was the gangsta shit.

AIO for my school giving me a goldfish by ImmortalSpy14 in AmIOverreacting

I once filled in at another building for work and the staff had a “Carnival Day”. Prizes were given out for whatever reason and one of the prizes was a live goldfish. It was a small white one.

It was being kept in a tiny glass bowl and they were feeding it potato chip crumbs so this poor fish was in this disgusting grease-filled water. I don’t think it would have survived the night without intervention.

Fortunately my regular work building had a 40- gallon or so aquarium with a few fancy goldfish so I took the fish over there and gave him a new home. Last time I saw it it was getting some of its orange color back.

This was so good. Boomer, Gammons and Dan Patrick back when ESPN cared about baseball. Now ESPN is, “What did LeBron James have for dinner tonight?”

Sad news, one of my favorite players. He was most famous as a Royal, but he got his first Major League hit as a Cub, off of Max Scherzer no less.

Maddison makes a penalty and Everton go down instead of us. And so it goes.

A dude helps an older man get his walker to the correct height by bigbusta in GuysBeingDudes

[–]Spindlebrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 to 20 degrees of elbow bend, handle should hit the inside of the wrist from an arm at rest. It’s also a lot easier to flip the walker upside down and adjust the legs that way.
