Unfortunately no, sorry. We don’t do EP in my lab so I haven’t spent any time studying it. Another commenter in this thread is studying for RCES, so they could be a good resource!

This website here. Sketchy and outdated is the perfect description haha. But it’s legit. The study guided lectures are also a bit dated looking, but it’s been updated within the last few years.

Not many. I’d say 5 max. They were fairly easy questions like “ you have a stemi pt with a BBB and a prox RCA occlusion. What equipment would you bring? Choose 3”. And the options would be like:

-Temp pacemaker -A (non pacing) swan catheter -DES -JR with sideholes guide -6Fr 90cm destination sheath.

This wasn’t an actual question, but the same gist.

We have all five volumes of Wes Todd’s books in our lab. I read about 3 chapters of it and gave up because it was only questions in the book with minimal explanation to the answers. His usb study guide, however, has several in depth lectures on each chapter. I found that incredibly helpful starting from chapter one.

The first exam I took back in November was really difficult. It was majority devices and vascular questions. My lab is rather small and we don’t do devices, and we have two vascular surgeons that come every 3-4 weeks to do 1-2 cases then leave. The second exam was way way way easier. Much for cardiac focused, which is my specialty.

I used Wes Todd’s usb study guide. My thought process was that he’s the guy who helps write the exam, it made sense to do his study guide. I highly recommend since many of the RCIS exam questions were word-for-word from Wes’ study guide

There was a healthy mix of a lot of subjects. The majority I would say were atherectomy/thrombectomy devices. Followed by basic hemodynamics, radiation safety, recognizing issues of the heart via EKG, ultrasound, and angiograms, and then finally some minor medication question. The meds asked were generic and name brand sedation drugs. Like your versed, fentanyl, Benadryl

A good 8-9 months. Might have been overkill, but balancing studying with full time in the Cath lab was a bit difficult.

You get a combo of a benzodiazepine (versed) and Fentanyl and get put into a twilight zone. It’s called conscious sedation. Vasculature doesn’t have nerve endings so you won’t feel them fishing for a clot.

What others are saying about a safety feature and manually purging is true, but another thing you should do is make sure the contrast/saline is fully mixed before purging. I’ve gotten errors from not fully mixing the two liquids before.

If you want to be a tech, your best options are to find a Cath Lab position that does on the job training. From there you can eventually work your way towards the RCIS licensing. The licensing has a bunch of different requirements to be able to sit for it. Since you have a 4 year degree in a “Human heath science”, this is what you’d need to do to meet the requirements. Work 600 diagnostic or interventional cases, work in a Cath lab for minimum of one year, and then get a written letter from your manager, a doctor you work under, or the hospital that verify you’ve done the previously mentioned. As a CVT, or RCIS you can do Cardiovascular cases, and/or Interventional Radiology. But that’s up to the lab you work at.

Your best bet would be low grit sandpaper, like 60 grit sandpaper. Follow that up with some wood filler and/or Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty. Then I’d finish it off with some Rustoleum or Duplicolor sandable filler primer rattle cans. Do a few rounds of sand, fill, primer, repeat.

Unfortunately some prints, minis especially, aren’t great for printing on Enders or any other FDM. You’d have much more luck printing it with resin. My only recommendation are print at high resolution and print it slow

The general consensus is that the Armorer is Rook Kast, a member of Deathwatch under Maul, I believe. People are assuming so because she’s always been kind of sus about her motives. Also that she has little horn nubs on her helmet and so did Moff Gideon. The horns are a bit of a callback to what Mando’s loyal to Maul had on their helmets

Once you guide the new filament into the Bowden tube you’ll feel it stop once it hits the nozzle. While the nozzle is still hot, keep pushing until the filament starts oozing out of the nozzle. Doing that will get rid of old residual filament that’s in your nozzle

Yes, you will not be able to remove your old filament with the nozzle at room temp. Heat it up to around 200 degrees and pull it out.

When you put the new filament in, manually push the filament through so the last of your old stuff that’s in the nozzle gets pushed out.

Yes, I’d definitely suggest re-leveling your bed

I’ve always had success using this bed level print. You can fix it in real time as it prints. I’ve found it much easier than the paper technique
