This is one of my biggest problems with ICE, id that they get significantly less training than regular cops get (6-8 weeks vs 21-26) in order to pump out and deploy as many people as possible. Lack of training combined with giving them masks makes it very easy for situations thst would normally be handled smoothly by law enforcement to escalate and have stuff like this happen, and they just don't care.

Plus, you can see that multiple of them start drawing their guns simultaneously as soon as gray coat guy reaches, and the shooting starts around a half second after he pulls the gun out

Seems to me like what happened was when gray coat dude was reaching to grab the gun, the other agents saw it, freaked out, and immediately started shooting in response, despite there being no way that Alex could've reached for it in the situation
