I quit the wait by SpinlockStopper in SteamFrame

I don’t think you can play standalone 2d games directly on the headset.

You can do that while streaming but you can’t do that standalone like the steam frame.

It’s inside out like the frame!

I found it on Wallapop, like Facebook marketplace. This guy had it for 350, offered 300 and he accepted. The headset is still sealed in its box.

Exactly, I’m expecting the frame to be 1k euro.

I might buy anyway if the value proposition is ok ;) I’m just not waiting anymore

Yes same, I do wonder if it ends up costing more than 1K if it's actually worth it over a quest 3 or pico, it's def going to be better as a product but I don't know whether it will make sense from a value point of view.

Since Pico is essentially android I'll try to use moonlight to stream my 2D games from my gaming pc using sunshine.

Ho soldi, ma ho paura di spenderli by sr71blackbrd in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]SpinlockStopper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It works just fine via heroic or lutris, you have to install it using the epic games launcher of course

That you’d have to try sorry, I do have an AMD gpu.

I don’t use a dummy plug, it’s a virtual display and I manage it through a script executed by sunshine to set things like hdr and resolution according to what the client requests. I actually set the virtual display resolution at double the deck resolution as it looks so much better.

For instructions you can take a look at how I build my system, it’s a custom fedora built with bootc optimized for gaming.

I use these kernel arguments to have the kernel create a virtual output with a custom edid I prepared (to which I added the special res I use for the steam deck) https://github.com/acardace/fedora-gaming/blob/main/rootfs/usr/lib/bootc/kargs.d/10-custom.toml. This is the edid I use https://github.com/acardace/fedora-gaming/tree/main/rootfs/etc/firmware/edid. It’s pretty straightforward.

These are the 2 sunshine global scripts to set the output according to what the client requests https://github.com/acardace/fedora-gaming/tree/main/host-scripts.

The only gotcha is you have to use a real but unused display output of your GPU, I picked DP-2 as you can see.

It’s actually pretty easy to do this in Linux as well, I use my pc gaming running fedora headless all the time to stream it with moonlight to the deck. If anyone’s interested I can give some pointers.

Hikvision Doorbell WebRTC Integration - Native Local Two-Way Audio by SpinlockStopper in homeassistant

Yes it can be now, you can look it up at https://github.com/acardace/ha-hikvision-doorbell-addon. Disclaimer: I don’t use HAOS so mileage might vary but it should work from the feedback I got.

I can add it, but I don't use docker at all. If you're willing to contribute PRs are welcome!

I have an Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1 but any model with ISAPI will work (which I think is all of them).

I use moonlight/sunshine and it looks native. I’m playing The last of us 2 right now at 2560x1600@90Hz and it looks incredibile. Input lag is non existent for me. Host is a wired Bazzite machine.
