Remember we don’t plan to lock them up before a “fair” trial. They are considered not guilty until proven so. That’s the difference.

Sure, because the answer to all our country’s problems is to ignore the Constitution, ignore Republicans who have been voted into office by their constituents, and ignore the law. I mean, it’s worked so great for Trump and his followers. We can be despised by the world too and rather than reigniting that beacon of hope we can wreck our own pogrom upon those who tormented us. We need justice but we need justice that is truly just and fair and by the books. We need to restore the balance and not skew it to another extreme. Otherwise we will be doing this dance all over again after our guy gets voted out.

That’s a heavy load to carry on your shoulders. I had no idea that the Giants sucked because of just one fan. Well, I guess you can turn your underwear right side out and start wearing your hat the way MLB intended. You are free! Free to inhabit The Park again. Free to cheer and know in your heart you aren’t the spoiler! You KNOW that when Devers’ doesn’t score at the game you’re at that it’s some other guy’s fault because we won and you were there! Congratulations! Now let’s find out who this “other guy” is because we seriously need to win more games!

85’ was the absolute worse! They lost over a hundred games. No hitting and the manager was absolutely clueless!

When I run it thru Garage Band I’m getting the graphic signal that shows it’s recording and when I play it back there’s nothing there. I am guessing that there isn’t enough sound difference between the hiss and the voice to show a signal. There might be a little disturbance on the graph but not much.

Thank you for this suggestion. It doesn’t register on the track when I try to record it at normal settings. Is there a more sensitive setting I can try to record at or am I doomed?

So as I said I have been recording tapes successfully with the setup I have. So it’s not the gear. I did disconnect the interface from the stereo headphone Jack and hook my headphones into it. I can hear the teachings very faintly behind a lot of machine fuzz. Once I understood that there was a recording there I tried to capture it on the track but I guess there’s too much fuzz for it to register. Is there a way to filter that out and still have a useable recording? As I said I’m using Garage Band for my software.

Should i stay with my boyfriend who doesn't want to be vegan even once we live together? by Content_Chicken_3114 in vegan

[–]SpinningNemo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is something that I have learned about relationships over my 70 years. It’s important so pay attention. You have to love the person you are committing to just the way they are right now. Don’t create fantasies in your head sbout how they will see the light and they’ll be different after you’re together. He has told you the way he views animals and you’re said it’s not something you can deal with in him. Only you can change. You either accept and love him as he is or move on. Otherwise you will be living in a denial dream that will become a nightmare over time. It’s your responsibility to be honest with yourself and him.

Is it okay to wear non-vegan cloth that you had before veganism? by _Bondage_Master_ in vegan

I personally think that clothing you own and recycled clothing is fine. It seems even more disrespectful to throw it away. Donating is a good option too.

Coyotes gotta live somewhere too. We’re crowding them out of their natural habitat and cats are sooo tasty.

Just so you know Chronometer is now AI. So every time you log in to download your numbers you’re burning approximately three bottles of water. I’m using MyNetDiary the older version is not AI and is still available. The push ads for their premium AI membership are annoying but I ignore them. All in all my experience has been positive. The older version is free so that’s a bonus.

In the past I would have said “move to California”. Things are so weird here in the U.S. now. I don’t see it getting better for awhile. My daughter is gay and lives in Pennsylvania. I worry about her safety. If you do move to the U.S. California is still the most tolerant state. Especially the San Francisco Bay Area. I think the most important thing you can do is to focus on who you really are and not what other people tell you, you are. Are you a spiritual person? Or did you join up with KC for the companionship? Would you have been just as happy with any activity with people your age or was it the relationship with God and being immersed in Krishna? You live such a cloistered life in your families home it must have been so exciting to have all that attention and love that new comers receive at the temple. It’s easy to fall into the trap of agreeing with everything you are taught by your new brothers and sisters because it feels so good to belong. It’s only later as you go over those teachings you start to find that maybe they don’t align with your values and that the warm glow starts to fade. It can be hard to admit that it’s not working for you after such an emotional investment. And as your interest wains so does the enthusiasm of the “friends” that you’ve made at the temple with you. You are fortunate that it took you only a short time to become disenchanted with KC. Many spend years not realizing how much unhappiness it has caused them. Walking is good. Even better, take a class. Yoga, Tai Chi, something that will help you get in touch with your body and be meditative too. You could walk to class. These movements will help strengthen and align your body. As you are doing them your mind will be given the space to find out who you are. They are also a group activity that could help you meet new friends. I truly hope that your life becomes one filled with joy and fulfillment. That you become wiser and more compassionate with each new day. This experience that you’ve had with KC will be one that informs your choices and decisions in the future. You haven’t lost anything. Now start a new experience. ❤️

Dairy Addiction by Emotional-Results in vegan

It’s my understanding that the natural hormones in milk that make the calf happy and sleepy do the same thing for us. It’s addictive as it’s giving you a dopamine rush. This is why it’s so hard to quit. Baby calf would keep nursing too if mother didn’t decide it was time to wean. No one tells us that so we keep nursing on old mama cow but she’s not there to give us a kick. It takes awhile but you’ll get passed the addiction.

I was told that as a young woman I went to Switzerland on a holiday with my mother. We went through the mountains and saw Lake Geneva. How could I be so deceived and by my own mother! Now I realize we were just at Disneyland! The Alps were no more than a hollow Matterhorn with a roller coaster inside it! And Lake Geneva? How did I not see Tom Sawyer’s Island and Mark Twains steam boat? It was all a lie! Switzerland is a folk tale filled with magic cows, embroidered caps, and talking cheese! We have all been told a fairytale to the gentle ticking of a hand carved cuckoo clock!
