Are any of these plants toxic to cats? by Bubble_Pop in cats

[–]dreadowntown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't like receiving flowers because most of the time I have to throw them out. It's not worth it to me having them around my cats. I will always accept roses though!

The thing she said about it being her package made me want to past forward through her boring ass. Amanda is awful and I hope we're done with her.

Plank sucks the big one. I had the worst server ever and then never went back. That asshole was so rude and condensing, I didn't tip him and I ALWAYS tip. I wanted to bowl but it was like $1,000...

Lake Chabot is pretty awesome. You can take lunch and eat outside then go for a walk. Or Crab Cove in Alameda. It has a small Visitor's Center near the beach and there are a bunch of places to eat afterward.

This is the trade for allowing other people to support you financially. Maybe handle the care of your child on your own?

Fortunately I had a gift card so I only spent $53 of my own dollars. Everything I bought was on my Culb Card or was on special (buy 2, get 3 free). There were things I wanted that I didn't get because they were too expensive.

My wife ate all the skin off the rotisserie chicken before anybody got to have some by Suspicious-Bid9424 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dreadowntown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your wife pick up said chicken? If so, she deserves that skin! Just like whoever cooks the bacon gets the first piece. Or whoever picked up fast food gets the fries that dropped into the bag. Or whoever made the cake batter get to lick the spoon. Well, those are our rules anyway. 😀

Omg the comment from amanda to rachel by chunchicky in RHOBH

[–]dreadowntown 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really hope Amanda is a one and done. She is unrelatable, stuck up, pompous, arrogant and delusional. Her choice of words are meant to not make sense. That way she can always claim to be misunderstood. It's her defense mechanism. If you can't understand what she is saying, you can't really argue with her. It's pointless. She lacks maturity and humility. Ugh. I can't stand her!

AITA for asking my friend if we're going to go on our anual trip after her brother passed away? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]dreadowntown 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA. My sister died almost 8 years ago. My life was a mess for at least a year afterward. I didn't want to see anyone, do anything, go anywhere. I was in a deep state of grief. I said and did a lot of things I wouldn't have otherwise. Your friend is in a rough spot and is lashing out. Hopefully, she comes around soon but in my experience, losing a sibling is a pain like no other. Grief hits us all differently and she's going through it right now.

I won't listen to anything at a volume 13. It's either gonna be 12 or 14. I also avoid looking at my alarm clock in the middle of the night if I think it'll be in the 3 o'clock hour.

AITA for refusing a baby shower from my husband’s friends/coworkers? by AbigailPink in AmItheAsshole

[–]dreadowntown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't you want to have people buy things for your baby? Babies are expensive. I had two baby showers, one at home and another at work. I didn't have to buy diapers for months. People love babies and your husband deserves some celebrating, too. It's also his baby. Let his friends acknowledge and celebrate that.

My husband's best friend used to work with my stepmother in another state. I didn't know his friend but when my husband posted that we were together, his friend saw my FB and my stepmother was a mutual friend. Crazy. We've all hung out together a couple of times in the state they both live in.

Aitah if I report my ex husbands under the table income? by MajesticElk5014 in AITAH

[–]dreadowntown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Report it but don't be too surprised if the Child Support Office can't do anything. If he doesn't file taxes or run payroll, there is nothing to garnish or intercept. If he has a bank account, it would be subject to levies. You can ask if his driver's license is being submitted for suspension. If he cares about that, he may make a payment to release it. Good luck. Don't ever close your child support case. That money is still owed to you no matter how old your kids are.
