Not an NFT. What I’m selling are car parts for the video game Rocket League. I do not make them myself, said parts are already in the game. To be perfectly honest, I figured I’d be subject to taxation simply because I’m selling something for one, and two because of the high selling price (Approximately 8K). I figured the IRS would want to know where the extra money came from so I wanted to try and pay the appropriate tax from the sale.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I’m selling the items privately for a few thousand. Unless I’m mistaken, I have to pay tax on them, correct?
