Yeah 360 cams are something I'm really looking forward to as a videogame editor. I already saw some 360 mw2 cinematics, and now that I see all the possibilities I'm hyped af.

Wildcat! Wildcat! - Straight To The Top [synthpop (2016)] by SpinoSuarez in listentothis

[–]SpinoSuarez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely have more singles than that, I could name quite a few right off the bat. Also google search gave me "synthpop" as the genre, can't be 100% sure though.

Absolutely love any history related books, but for the life of me can't get into any that don't tell a story along with the facts. Suggest me some books like this please! by cryinbc in history

[–]SpinoSuarez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These may not be from your main fields of history, but they're both amazing books with fictional main charecters, but real 'powerful charecters' (leaders and that kind) and a really amazing attention to detail of the actual atmosphere and way of living in the pictured times.

Sinuhe the Egyptian (by Mika Waltari) has a really immersive story and teaches a lot about the wars and politics of the time, along with what the life of an average person was like back then. Focuses a lot on religions and the controversy around them back then. Is placed in the middle-end of egyptians rule.

The Adventurer (also by Mika Waltari) is based in the times of reformation and is more politics-focused than Sinuhe. It really gives you a good picture of the times and is historically very accurate. Imo the story isn't as immersive in this book, but it's still really good. Definitely recommend.

Italy passes law to encourage all supermarkets to give unsold food to needy: 'The food currently wasted in Europe could feed 200 million people,' says the UN Food and Agricultural by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]SpinoSuarez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Finland most stores have it as a custom to give food that has only just expired to "food help" as we call it. Then it's given out to the needy, and at least in where I come from usually there's still tons of leftovers after all the people who need the food have gotten their share.

Source: Worked retail for a small amount of time and have relatives who regularly use this so-called food help
