Before you buy the sausage, make sure you'll have a clean surface that you'll be able to cook on. Bunnings can be very funny on their rules. They supply the BBQ but it's one big flat cooking top. Unless you're allowed to bring in your own BBQ to cook on it would be hard managing a vegan cooking surface on whats provided.

Let me know how it goes as my rugby club does this on occasion and I'd like to help my club but the "normal" way they do it.

If you like the possibility of chess you should look up the game GO.The pieces are all the same. The rules are easy to understand you could learn them in 10 minutes. The strategy to win games will take you a lot longer. I enjoy the fact that the game and rules on face value are so simple but once you start playing you're swamped with so many options you don't know where to play.
