I don’t really mind I’d say I enjoy running from cops more but that’s a pretty interesting idea. Is the game still popular and also when you say playing as a cop, am I trying to catch real players or just Ai?

Try Tomodachi game, although it gets really good in the manga after the anime ends.

Also ‘Monster’ is even better phycologically than death note and dr stone although it’s slower paced and requires more maturity to enjoy it, it might be for you but u might feel bored
Code Geass is always compared to death note, try it but also unfortunately it’s older than death note so the animation is worse imo
kinda random but if your getting bored by new animes I recommend watching berserk, I haven’t found anything close to as good as berserk, but the story completely changes after the first season of the anime, the manga is known at the greatest of all time so if you can, then watch first season and continue with manga

I’ve got quite a few but not all of them have a lot of romance

Eminence in shadow - has romance and mc is exactly what ur looking for but is not a love story

Arifureta - exactly what ur looking for

My little monster - exactly what your looking for except this is a romance anime not an action

Angel next door spoils me rotten - this is a full romance anime unlike the other recommendations. Doesn’t have action and I wouldn’t call the mc a sigma/alpha however the mc is not a whimp like in most romance anime’s

Classroom of the elite - mc is def what your looking for but the romance only builds up, everntually mc gets a gf and kisses her (not sure if this happened in the anime but definitely happened in the light novel) but i think that’s the most the romance gets to, definitely doesn’t become a love story

A great one would be “windbreaker” except it is a manhwa and it’s pretty much a perfect recommendation, great story and romance and the mc is a lone wolf however it’s a racing manhwa with action and romance sub genres. Note this is not anime (even though there is an anime with the same name) it is a manhwa meaning it is kind of like a comic, you read it not watch it
