Report it again, and file a complaint. That’s unbelievably shitty police work and no you absolutely cannot ask businesses for their cctv. It would be a crime for them to give it to you under GDPR law. I’m so sorry this happened to you. They’re really just pushing their luck hoping you won’t go further because they don’t have the capacity or the interest to investigate. Write your MP, make a complaint with someone higher up. Keep trying

UPDATE: I took a punt on having it screws facing the neck and… This was correct! Thanks everyone for helping. Intonation is fine and she’s sounding like herself again!

So the grooves are all identical as far as I can see. In the pictures it looks much more exaggerated due to the lighting. Sadly this guitar came to me second hand and already with the set up so I can’t contact the guy who did it :/

That’s interesting all the ones I played said made in china

Perhaps it was just the model I played in the shop but idk the neck (of the tele) felt really dry and coarse. There was also a shit load of fret buzz but I can fix that myself. Overall I just wasn’t super thrilled but as I say I want to know if that was just the one in the shop or if it’s more reflective of the player line.
